Job Description:
Responsibilities
Originates and closes financial transactions with new, existing and former customers within an assigned target market to develop new business, and retain and penetrate existing business for the IKON Portfolio.
*Develops and executes strategies to drive growth, retention and profitability of accounts and optimize market penetration in conjunction with the IKON Sales workforce.
*Drives wing-to-wing sales process including customer prospecting, lead generation, making sales calls, analyzing data, preparing proposals and credit packages, negotiating price or other terms, and coordinating onboarding and ongoing relationships with customers. [Note: Prospecting and lead generation conducted by the customer.]
*Interacts with IFS Transactional Financial Services Specialists assigned to the area to resolve issues.
*Conducts national and local sales force training on capabilities, promotions and new initiatives in conjunction with IKON Financial Services.
*Reviews with Sales Managers activity on expiring assets as shown in ON Target or Sales Online.
*Manages "high risk" residuals, including all assets qualified for IFS Select Term Renewal Program.
*Oversees assets in month-to-month renewal, which could include negotiations directly with customers in vacant territories as determined by marketplace Director of Sales.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
*Bachelor's Degree required (or high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of sales experience)
*Minimum of 2 years of sales or other transactional experience in financial services.
*Knowledge of credit/financial principles and analysis.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
*Training experience utilizing prepared materials as well as being able to develop personalized training materials.
*Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills.
Eligibility Requirements:
*Willing to relocate and/or travel extensively.
