We're increasing our sales force and adding new positions. We currently have an opportunity available for an Account Manager in the Newport News area.

Using our unparalleled value proposition, the Account Manager will be responsible for developing long lasting partnerships with customers to supply and manage their MRO procurement. Qualified candidates must possess the business acumen to position Grainger solutions as a strategic advantage to our customers and clearly articulate business drivers, balance sheets, and total cost ownership concepts with executives and decision makers. The ability to establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision makers within each customer organization in the territory is required. A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience is highly desired. A minimum of two plus years of successful business to business complex outside sales experience with strong emphasis on end user sales is necessary. Proven record in successfully meeting sales goals and quotas for two plus years.
