Position Summary


 

Five Positions are open in the following markets:
Minneapolis, MN & Phoenix, AZ

Dex, an R.H. Donnelley Company is seeking energetic, ambitious, career-oriented Sales Management Professionals to manage a team of Local Marketing Consultants - Outside Sales to connect businesses and consumers through its broad portfolio of interactive and search engine marketing and print solutions.   In addition, this position will manage their team to increase penetration of current customers and new customers into Dex Internet & Print Yellow Pages products prior to competition, thus growing customer, revenue and gaining competitive advantage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that sales objectives and revenue goals are achieved by managing the Local Marketing Consultants outside sales team.

  • Manage all canvass activities including canvass planning, reporting, documentation, personnel issues, key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction scores.

  • Hire, develop and train representatives by screening, interviewing and recommending the hiring of qualified individuals, and working with the Field Sales Trainer to design and implement individual development plans and coaching reps to achieve their goals.

  • Maintain industry knowledge by keeping abreast of competing products, as well as e-commerce and search engine strategies, and other competitive intelligence.

  • Collaborate effectively with peers to drive revenue and results and effectively reconcile, split and assign markets as determined by business needs.

  • Partner with the local Regional Marketing Manager's as well as other appropriate community events and organizations to promote Dex.

  • Manage the sales budget in an effective manner.

  • Ensure that the customer satisfaction goals are achieved by reviewing escalated customer service and account problems and working with the appropriate Customer Relations Representatives to resolve issues.

  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills.

  • Highly effective oral/written communication & interpersonal skills.

  • Effective planning, organization and follow-up skills.

  • Effective problem analysis, adaptability and initiative skills.

  • Demonstrated sales management experience (outside sales management highly preferred)

  • Experience with and knowledge of Internet advertising products and services

  • Supervisory experience with ability to develop, coach, counsel, influence and motivate staff preferred.

  • Minimal travel
